Please keep in mind that we have curated these packages as best we can to suit most peoples needs and create a transparent pricing format. Being that everyone’s hair is different and there are no two heads of hair the same, your stylist may recommend adding on additional processes in order to achieve a desired or specific goal.

In all instances where there is an extensive colour or chemical history, please seek advice prior to booking in any colour package. Artificial colour build up will usually require one of our double process packages and at times we may need to strand test and detox prior to your session.
Capped price packages are available for any length and any thickness with n o additional surcharges.
The addition of Olaplex bond fortifier is sometimes necessary for corrective colour work, your Stylist will need to see your hair to advise on this. Cancellations within 48 hours will incur a $50 fee as per our booking terms and conditions

Transform your existing colour with a full head of traditional or balayage style foils, followed by zone toning for a seamless lived in effect or global toning for allover lightness. Also includes a professional blowave with heat styling of your choice.
Refresh and maintain your existing foils or balayage with this package, or if you’re wanting to go for a subtle new look, this one is for you. Also includes root smudge and zone toning for a lived in look, or global toning for allover lightness. Finished with a professional blowave with heatsyling of your choice.
White Ivy’s signature session- The fullest full head of micro or slab foils, to transform even the blackest hair to the brightest blonde. This package includes interval lightening and basin bleaching to achieve the ultimate lightest result possible in the one sitting. Also includes global toning or zone toning and a root smudge. Finished with a professional blowave and heatstyling of your choice. This package is not suitable where dark or artificial dye is existent as that would require a double process colour correction.
Remove artificial pigment and/or correct your base gently and professionally with this package. Suitable for virgin hair where changing the base is required also. Gloss toning to seal the new colour is then finished with a professional blowave and heat styling of your choice.
If you've been colouring you hair darker, whether it be frequently or just as a one off, then this is the quickest way for you to strip back as much of that colour as possible. Specific hair has specific challenges, this package is the White Ivy specialty, it is what sets us apart from every other salon in Melbourne. Over 6-8 hours we will gently remove even the most built up colours, often defying science! There is no one size for this type of service and it is therefore recommended to have an online or in person consultation to verify suitability and to understand the likely outcome.
Choose between an allover colour change -roots to ends included, cover up those pesky grey hairs, or refresh your existing colour with either a permanent, semi permanent or gloss toner option. Professional blowave and heat styling is included.

Not when it’s done properly. At White Ivy Hair Studio, we specialise in lightening extremely dark hair—especially Asian and Mediterranean hair types—and we know how to do it safely.
Where required, we use professional-grade bond builders (like Olaplex) throughout every lightening service to protect and strengthen your hair during the process. That said, every head of hair is different, and extreme transformations sometimes require multiple sessions to maintain the integrity of your hair.
Just as important as what we do in the salon is what you do at home. We’ll recommend a tailored home maintenance plan to keep your hair strong, hydrated, and vibrant between visits. Skipping it can undo all the work we’ve done in the chair—so trust us, it’s not optional if you want beautiful, long-lasting results.
That is exactly the kind of challenge we specialise in. Box dye can be stubborn and unpredictable- but with the right planning, it’s still possible to achieve a beautiful and healthy blonde. We’ll assess your hair history, current condition and long term goals before starting. In some cases, it may take a few stages to get there safely and this will depend on the amount and the type of built up artificial pigment. We will always be upfront, realistic and protect your hair every step of the way. We may also on occasion recommend that you come in for strand testing and detoxing prior to your sitting.

Yes—every step in your quote is carefully selected to achieve your desired result safely and with the best possible finish. Skipping any process (like toning, bond repair, or root blending) can impact both the health of your hair and the final look.
That said, if the full quote is outside your budget, we can absolutely explore alternative options or you can choose one of our capped-price packages. Just keep in mind that this may mean adjusting your expectations—your end result may look different or take more sessions to reach. We’ll always be upfront with you so you can make the best choice for your hair and your budget.
